Echo Master, a small company in South Korea, is making a precise copy of the highly sought after Brilhart 3-band ligature. They make both the version with an epoxy/plastic plate contacting the reed and the version with the brass metal plate contacting the reed. They make them to fit a large variety of mouthpieces.
The Echo master company clearly knows the old proverb “the devil is in the detail” as they write their ligatures are exact copies, using the same brass alloy and achieving the same weight as the original.
The workmanship is excellent and the sound is in my opinion just like the original Brilhart – and yes, I have compared them to the original Brilharts from our collection 🙂                   Full, focused and resonant playing ligatures.
